The highlight of my career has been the honor of doing the cover art for the August 2006 Highlights For Children one billionth issue. At the HFC annual illustrators weekend every guest was given a copy of the milestone issue with a gold embossed 60 years/one billion copies logo. I learned recently that a copy of this issue is in the Smithsonian Postal Museum collection.
